Murweh increases rates 2% in $29 million budget

Murweh shire's $29m budget includes a planetarium as a new tourist attraction.

MURWEH SHIRE today adopted a $29 million budget with an overall rates increase of about 2%. Mayor Annie Liston said the package, up from last year’s amended budget of $25m, was framed in the context of the six-year drought and economic downturn.
