Councils fret about population decline

Bulloo shire council has poured Works for Qld state government funding into street beautification in Thargomindah.

THE SOUTHWEST local government association is researching ways to arrest population decline. Representatives from Balonne, Bulloo, Maranoa, Murweh, Paroo and Quilpie councils met in Charleville to discuss how to entice and keep families to the region.
