Council abandons sinking ship after engineers sound alarm bells

A 25mm crack has opened in the northeast corner of the Paroo shire council civic centre.

PAROO SHIRE council has begun moving staff out of its administration building after engineers warned the brickwork was cracking so badly the northeast wall could collapse at any time.
